Jamille has applied her analytical and communicative skills in both the public and not-for-profit sectors. She contributed to the development of policy to enhance income security, including negotiations towards enhancing the Canada Pension Plan. Jamille also supported strategic decision-making on a wide range of initiatives while working for the Deputy Minister of Finance.Jamille has worked as an independent policy consultant, conducting research and analysis to support various projects related to income security, the informal labour market, accessibility, and poverty reduction. Recently, Jamille helped start a non-profit organization aimed at connecting, promoting and renewing the community of Scarborough, Toronto.
