Gil is a graduate of the Cities Programme at the London School of Economics, where he studied urban design and urban sociology, and is an honours graduate of the Ryerson University School of Urban and Regional Planning. Having worked as an urban planner before joining Artscape, Gil’s experience has included master planning and visioning processes, community engagement and facilitation, policy development, urban design review, and a range of technical analyses. He is a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and a Registered Professional Planner in the Province of Ontario. As Research and Development Manager, Gil contributes to the concept development, feasibility analysis, visioning, design and delivery of new Artscape projects, as well as to the analysis and impact assessment of Artscape’s ongoing operations.
